Want More Real Tiktok Followers?

Livestreaming continues to pull in massive audiences and impressive engagement, especially Lives from content creators with a loyal following. Because viewers can view a stream only when it’s ongoing, it taps into people’s FOMO ideology. They don’t want to miss out on an exclusive experience. However, TikTok’s changing that for TikTok Creator accounts with their  TikTok LIVE Replay feature. Here’s everything you need to know about this functionality.

How to Replay TikTok LIVE

When your TikTok LIVE ends, TikTok keeps the recordings in LIVE Center for 30 days. Here’s how to replay TikTok LIVE:

  1. Launch TikTok, go to your Profile and tap the hamburger Menu icon in the upper right.
  2. Tap Creator Tools.
  3. Tap on the LIVE Center.
  4. Scroll down and tap Replays.

Once you access your LIVE recordings, you can rewatch them to evaluate your performance from a fresh perspective. You can also download or delete them.

If you want to download or delete a LIVE recording, just follow these steps:

  1. Launch TikTok, go to your Profile and tap the hamburger Menu icon in the upper right.
  2. Tap Creator Tools.
  3. Select the LIVE tab, then tap Go to LIVE Center.
  4. Scroll down and tap Replays.
  5. Select the video you want to download or delete, then tap Download or Delete.

TikTok LIVE Replay Comments

Will you also be able to view TikTok LIVE Replay comments? Unfortunately, your LIVE recordings won’t show the comments people left when you were broadcasting. LIVE Replays only allow you to rewatch, download, or delete your past recordings.

Your TikTok LIVE Analytics won’t let you review comments on previous LIVES. You use the Analytics tool to get deeper insights into your past LIVEs, but there are no data about LIVE comments. LIVE Analytics only provides metrics data on the following:

  • Number of LIVEs
  • Total LIVE views
  • Total LIVE time
  • Number of new viewers
  • New followers
  • Unique viewers
  • TikTok Diamonds

You can only view data within the past 60 days. If you want future access to your LIVE comments, you’ll have to screen-record your video while you’re broadcasting. You can also take screen captures if there are comments you want to save for future reference.

If your LIVE stream taught you a lesson in comment moderation, familiarize yourself with LIVE comments settings and options. Your previous broadcasts set the tone for future ones. So, it’s crucial to ensure that your LIVE viewers have a pleasant and positive experience.

TikTok LIVE Replay Not Working

Is your TikTok LIVE Replay not working? There are several possible reasons for this. Check if TikTok has a new update. If your app does not update automatically, you must do it manually. You may also need to clear your cache to free up space. If your LIVE recording is older than 30 days, you will no longer find it in LIVE Center Replays.

Why does TikTok even save previous LIVE broadcasts?

You can rewatch or download previous broadcasts to review your LIVE video performance and identify what works well and what doesn’t. While rewatching, pay close attention to spikes and dips in viewership. Pinpoint and assess segments that delivered Gifts from viewers. You should also look at your replays via your Analytics for the corresponding period.

According to TikTok, they also save LIVE broadcasts to “improve and develop content moderation on TikTok.” They keep previous LIVES for 30 days in case they need to review videos according to the platform’s Community Guidelines. They may do this to respond to content violation reports, whether from a handful of users or a mass report.

Boost Engagement Through TikTok LIVE

LIVE broadcasts allow you to connect with followers in real-time. You can answer their questions as they join a live or ask them yours to get to know each other better. A LIVE stream is an opportunity to give your audiences a candid and fresh perspective into who you are as a creator. You can use a LIVE broadcast to heighten brand/product awareness or start meaningful conversations about topics you’re passionate about.

Make sure you generate as much attention and excitement as possible for an upcoming LIVE. Post regular and optimized announcement videos. Invite your followers to contribute via suggestions. You should also be completely prepared for your stream. Because you’re broadcasting LIVE, it’s even more essential to get every detail of your video right. Make sure everything’s ready, from the lighting to the sound quality, the background or effects you’ll be using, and even your internet connection.

While LIVE streams have a more natural and unscripted flow, you should still have a plan so your broadcast runs without a hitch.

Accessing TikTok LIVE Replay should be a regular habit. It’s a valuable opportunity to learn in hindsight and keep improving your content. You can use the information you collect from your video review to give your audiences more of what they enjoy. You can also learn more about the best strategy to reach and engage them.
